This picture is of our scouts in front of the Lake at Camp Gorton during Winteree. We've done many camping trips both locally and more distant places. Locally Hills Creek is one of our favorite spots but we have also stayed at Buck Tail and other wooded locations.
Pack
69 has a year round Cub Scouting program for boys in 1st-5th grade. Our
program includes helping our community, nurturing the growth of our
scouts through fun and educational events, and a great family atmosphere
for our scouts to learn and grow in. Through our scouting program,
boys will discover a welcoming, non-competitive environment where they
are free to explore, seek new challenges and express themselves as
individuals and as group.
We are an extremely active Pack. In the past we have visited The Luray Caverns, Washington
DC. and New
Market Civil War Memorial in Virginia, In 2012 we are planning a trip to Gettysburg to learn still more about the Civil War. Earlier this school year we toured the Lackawana Coal Mine and rode on the steam driven
train at the Steamtown National Historic Site in Scranton and made the Christmas train ride at Tioga.
